A career civil servant, writer, and economist, Abrahim brings extensive writing and mentorship experience across different fields. Over the last decade, Abrahim has assisted dozens of students secure admissions at top universities, highlighting each student’s unique lived experiences and helping them craft powerful stories. He also served as an admissions counselor at a leading private school in Lahore before joining Pakistan’s civil service. 

 

Abrahim recently co-authored a book on Pakistan’s political economy and is a regular op-ed writer for Dawn, Pakistan’s most prestigious English language newspaper. His professional career spans assignments in Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, the UNHCR in London and the British Parliament.

 

Abrahim pursued a double major in economics and history from Cornell University and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the University at Oxford. He is an admitted candidate to the DPhil (PhD) International Development program at the University of Oxford. He also stood third out of 15,000 candidates in the country’s highly competitive civil service exam in 2018.

Sohaib Wali is an educator, service-learning advocate, and the visionary founder of HILM. For over seven years, Sohaib has been deeply involved in transformative education at Harsukh School, a low-income institution on the outskirts of Lahore, Pakistan. Harsukh School has pioneered an alternative pedagogy rooted in the value of love—an approach that challenges the commodification of education and emphasizes empathy, curiosity, and genuine human connection.

In addition to his contributions to education, Sohaib served as Assistant Secretary to the former Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan. This role honed his organizational skills, but his enduring passion for education and community engagement ultimately led him back to his true calling.

​

​Sohaib will be at the forefront of empowering young students through service-learning at Wonderhill, immersing them in community development in Gilgit Baltistan and Punjab.

Sohaib is a graduate of Liberal Studies from Beaconhouse National University, where he earned a distinction for his work on the Contemporary issues in Twenty-First Century Higher Education. 

Tehreem is an artist and educator, trained in an interdisciplinary mentorship style to equip students from all academic backgrounds for college anywhere in the world. She is specifically interested in helping students search for scholarships, pursue the liberal arts, and refine their activities to include justice, creativity and innovation.

 

Tehreem has worked in mentorship with Harsukh School, Mount Holyoke College and Hilm. She has undertaken several art projects centering geography, oral histories and community based practices of artmaking. She was chosen as a Rising South Asian Artist by the 13JaraCollective and Chennai Photo Biennale for the Recontres D’Arles Night of the Year in France (2022).
